Classroom Observations

Because CLASS results are tied to Recompetition, achieving high CLASS scores is extremely important. Outside observers are the best way to pinpoint areas that need improvement. Our observers are impartial. They are certified observers who know what to look for when they come into your classrooms. Information that is gathered during observation is provided to you in a report, showing the strengths and areas for improvement of each classroom.

Our certified, outside observers have the objectivity needed to observe classrooms and provide feedback without the possibility of bias.
As a result of our CLASS observations, we provide:

  • Debriefing with the teacher after the CLASS observation.
  • Discussion of the results with the Head Start Director and Management Team, upon request.
  • Report of the strengths & areas for improvement for each classroom.
  • Report of program-wide opportunities for improvement & recommendations.
